Hi @tescobankhelp, I asked to transfer a balance from my Barclaycard on the 8 August. The transaction is still showing as being processed - can you tell me how long this should take?

A single person or podcast making the move has little impact but when people see big companies and popular people moving elsewhere they'll shift too - it's not exactly hard to do. Anyway, I'll be on Blue Sky if anyone wants me. bsky.app/profile/defenc…

other sites and disguised far right memes posted by pensioners who don't really think about what they're re-posting in any depth. My view is that people like @TheNewsAgents should post news here, direct people to somewhere else - I prefer Blue Sky - and not engage further here.

I listened to this episode this morning. I can't agree with the arguments for staying and engaging. I plan to use Blue Sky far more. X isn't Twitter any more, it's now a highly sculpted platform that deliberately pushes hateful posts and limits views of opinions that disagree...

Are @jonsopel and @lewis_goodall ready to call it a day? And yes, the irony of posting this here is not lost on us... articles.globalplayer.com/2GXq6HQH9uniTa…

Problem is if we all leave it then becomes nothing more than a one dimensional echo chamber for those of the 'right' whatever version of right that be - a Reform / Trump platform controlled by US accounts / think tanks / money......... which will die a death with the demise of Trump and continuing Farage scrutiny

And court staff/judiciary pretend they don't know why defence lawyers complain that we are seen as indivisible from our clients even by courts!

Conspiracy case coming up at Staines Mags. Two men conspiring to kidnap a child. Also found with "really nasty" child abuse images!! One for the press I think.

They spent four or five months on police bail, during which they seem to have committed additional offences by concealing devices with additional indecent images of children. They deny most of the charges and say they were just fantasies, not a genuine plan to kidnap.

Heard details now. Seems there is an allegation of rape PLUS a conspiracy to kidnape & rape other kids. Ds chatting with kids online & exchanging photos. Also trying to get older children to meet them and bring younger siblings. I suspect they're about to be remanded.

@anon_opin I'm convinced that 99% of online advertising is a waste of money. Stuff on newspaper websites is a good example, so are those adverts at the start of Youtube videos they rarely get to the point before I've skipped them so I have no idea what they are selling.

Why the fuck would anyone advertise on a newspaper website? If anyone does actually spot your ad amongst the dozens of others on screen, it's always positioned somewhere that will piss people off. How is that good for your brand?

Lloyd is seen on footage amongst a group that smashed its way into the Holiday Inn and threw items, including chairs, at officers. The group can be heard chanting "Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Yorkshire" on the video which was uploaded to TikTok under the username Steakbake6969.
