Part of why I adore No More Heroes as a series is because both the first and last entry end with purposefully unresolved plot lines and cliffhangers after dropping massive narrative bombshells, poking fun at how never ending franchises are, especially for superheroes.

Sometimes, loose ends are purposely made to continue discussion and speculation after a series ends. Sometimes, loose ends definitely should be addressed, then I think of how Tsukihime 2 teasers were left unaddressed 20+ years ago and I become more forgiving of other works lol.
