Since then we were congressionally redistricted, we had our polling locations cut, we held our Opal Lee Luncheon, our candidate got the most votes in the November 2025 election, we had a historic number of candidates sign up to run, we challenged the Republican petitions, Senator Rehmet swung his district 37 points during a Texas ice storm, we held our Beyond Darkness Gala, we had a record-setting number of Democrats turn out in the March primary election (outnumbering GOP voters by a wide margin), TCDP made its first-ever endorsements in municipal elections and then we beat all the GOP's preferred candidates in the May election (again), we saw our Dem Precinct Chairs outnumber the GOP ones for the first time maybe ever, and we raised & maintained a record-setting amount of money for this county party ($186k in the bank as of yesterday and that's with adding staff and printing 40,000 coordinated lit pieces last week).
