Just back from Florida, where #PeterKuznick, my co-author of “Untold History,” and I did an interview with @TuckerCarlson on the urgency of the nuclear threat, which should concern every American. Yet, in this mad world, our attention span must compete with mysterious drones, AI fakes, Trump/Biden apocalypse stories, endless clips of film, and basically ‘everything everywhere all at once.’ Jeff Sachs was there on Monday when we arrived, and he’s as busy as ever, on the move everywhere trying to put out the fires of World War III. Our own two-hour talk was a stimulating one. As a director, I have to say, Tucker with his cocked eyebrow has one of the best ‘listener’ faces in the business. He absorbs your thinking. With my son @WatchingSean, we then went on to the @patrickbetdavid Show (episode enclosed: m.youtube.com/watch?v=ucx_qK…) for Sean’s documentary, #AllthePresidentsMen, which I can highly recommend for those interested in some of Trump’s most controversial supporters. Start with Rudy Giuliani (Chapter 5), who makes a very strong case, in my mind, considering how upset I was over his outlandish support for the War on Terror in the first decade of this century. But life has ground much wisdom into him. Also check out the segments on Roger Stone (Chapter 2), Kash Patel (Chapter 4), and Tucker Carlson (Chapter 6).
