Backrooms was decent, just flawed with the writing and story. I was intrigued and I liked suspense and mystery. The overall confusion of the story with the universe of the Backrooms kind of holds it back. The mystery of the story is both the strength and weakness in that sense

It is real: Backrooms is doing wild business! We went for a 6:25pm, forced to go to 7:15pm showing. And Obsession showing was still packed at this theater. Star Wars? MELLOW! This is crazy times for horror!!

Damn Yoshihiro Nishimura died. Tokyo Gore Police, Machine Girl, Meatball Machine, Suicide Club, Zombie Ass Toilet of the Dead….this dude gave us some wild moments with special effects in this films! Super thankful I got to meet him at Monsterpalooza 2019

Passenger was decent. Liked the different kind of story it had to it. Would say it will blow anyone away, but it was decent overall. We caught a late showing of Corporate Retreat. Bloody fun time it was. Cheesy, bloody fun

Loved the craziness and performances in Obsession. Loved the atmosphere and story in Hokum. So far, those are my 2 favorites to hit theaters in 2026

Some goodies came in the mail. Massacre Video’s Distribution is Dead Sale titles and I am looking forward to them all! And shoutout to Diabolik DVD for still having Toxic Zombies and The Devil which were out of stock on the Massacre site.

Cauldron Crypt sounds like a very fun sub-label and I am super curious what releases will come out of it over time. Really cool seeing Cauldron Films continue to do good things with Italian films!
