The event will highlight routes to research involvement showcasing research led by NMAHP+ at different stages of their research journey. There will also be opportunities to share experiences in developing a research component to your role/career

Our amazing diabetes team were triumphant at the @UHDBTrust making a difference awards last night! A massive congratulations to them for their well deserved win. 🤩

Today is #redforresearch day where we wear red to celebrate all those involved in research! First up is Dr Teresa Grieve, Our Deputy director getting in on the action from her holiday!

Sam commented: “This is really important as we know from data that areas and population groups with the highest rates of diabetes diagnosis are also the least represented in research and face more health inequalities.”

Sam is passionate about making diabetes research opportunities accessible to everyone. She was awarded the Clinical Research Network East Midlands underserved communities grant, aimed at getting more people from underserved areas to take part in diabetes research.
