Dear Uncle Isaac Fayose, THANK YOU SIR🙏🏽
This is the beginning of a Long and Beautiful Journey of Service for a Better Nigeria ❗️
God Bless you sir, from the depth of My Heart, I am Grateful 🙏🏽
2027 = Nigeria Would be OK ✌🏽🇳🇬❤️
Peter Obi is not a corrupt politician and he is incorruptible. If you talk about corruption, you look at Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar. Atiku Abubakar bought his 2023 presidential ticket
— Kenneth Okonkwo ✌️
“If You’re Not a Føol Or An Id!ot, Tell Me One Good Reason Why Anyone Should Vote Tinubu Again For a Second Term After All This Hardship And Pain Nigerians Are Facing. If You Can Give Me Just One Not Two, Just One Solid Reason Why I Should Vote For Tinubu, Then I’ll Consider Voting For Him Again In 2027.
My dear Arewa brothers, poverty does not ask for your tribe, and insecurity does not care about religion. Nobody owes Obi or Kwankwaso a favor, but Nigerians owe themselves a better future. In 2027, let conscience speak louder than ethnicity. Nigeria Will be OK In Sha Allah ✌️
It is truly unfortunate that someone of Prof. Yusuf Usman's calibre would be seen amplifying the already‑debunked claim that Peter Obi attempted to issue ID cards to northerners. These are completely false claims that remain unsupported by any credible evidence. It is disappointing that the Professor allowed himself to be swayed by such fabricated stories, lending them an air of legitimacy they do not deserve.
Even more regrettable is that he made this assertion on the Daily Trust platform, and the anchor made little to no attempt to thoroughly fact‑check, contextualize, or challenge the claim. For a media organization of Daily Trust's stature, such uncritical amplification of a debunked narrative reflects an alarmingly low editorial bar. A platform of that stature cannot allow itself to be a conduit for misinformation.
I cannot imagine Seun of Channels TV allowing such a claim to slip through unchallenged. On platforms where journalistic standards are taken seriously, an allegation of this magnitude would trigger immediate fact‑checking or, at the very least, a request for evidence.
Just for clarity, the governor who was accused of attempting to issue ID cards to northerners was Rochas Okorocha, during his 2014 "Know Your Neighbours" initiative in Imo State. It was Okorocha, not Peter Obi, who faced allegations from some northern senators that the program was a covert attempt to register northerners. He vehemently denied ever attempting to issue ID cards to northerners.
Kwankwaso travelled to Imo, not Anambra, to intervene. Due to his involvement, along with that of several senators, the plan (if it ever truly existed in the form alleged) was halted.
Here in Kano (according to Allafrica news archive), Barrister Bulama Bukarti and Sunusi Sadiq pushed for the House of Assembly to adopt a framework to register southerners living in the state, in response to the alleged plan to register northerners in Imo. That proposal also generated controversy and was ultimately shelved.
These are the verifiable facts. None of them involve Peter Obi, and none support the false narrative being recycled today.

It was not Peter Obi who produced ID cards for the northerners; it was Rochas Okorocha from Imo State. The internet will help us to debunk all this propaganda and lies.
Peter Obi is a decent politician who wants to see Nigeria work.

“If you’re finding it difficult to get an APC ticket in the 12 states where Peter Obi won in 2023, I’ll advise you to move to NDC. You could be the next Ireti Kingibe.” — APC hardcore supporter says to other other APC members
Clarification on the false and fabricated media propaganda against Mr. Peter Obi.
It was not Mr. Peter Obi who produced ID cards for the northerners, it was Rochas Okorocha from Imo State.
The internet will help us to debunk all this propaganda and these lies.
Mr. Peter Obi is a decent politician who wants to see Nigeria work.

A Northerner has recounted how Peter Obi’s tenure as Governor of Anambra State benefited the state, noting that he experienced those positive impacts firsthand while serving as an Imam in the state.
It is really sad and unfortunate to see false narratives about Mr. Peter Obi being recycled without evidence.
The “ID card for northerners” controversy was linked to Rochas Okorocha’s 2014 Imo initiative not Mr. Peter Obi.
Facts matter and credible platforms must uphold basic standards of fact-checking before amplifying misinformation.
Let's be guided please.
