YouTube mobile is using the camera and Face ID sensor to show ads whenever the user is away from the device. I usually play YouTube in the background while cooking or doing something else. And I have noticed this pattern, the moment I move away or put my phone down, I suddenly get ads. Since my hands are busy, I can't skip them, and most of the time they are long unskippable ads. Government and people should start questioning YouTube regarding these shady practices.
