**Why Cancer Cures Were Delayed by Red Tape**
Cancer reprogramming, using CRISPR and PSC-derived organoids, could have transformed treatment long ago, but regulatory hurdles stalled progress. Here’s how reduced red tape could have led to effective cancer cures, tied to our discussion on reprogramming and KAIST’s colon cancer work.
- **Tech Existed for Decades**:
- CRISPR (2012) and earlier gene-editing tools (1990s) enabled targeting cancer mutations.
- PSC organoids (2000s) allowed human-relevant testing, like KAIST’s 2024 colon cancer reversion (MYB, HDAC2, FOXA2).
- Lab-grown blood/tissues (2010s) offered ethical testing platforms.
- **Red Tape Slowed Progress**:
- FDA/EMA’s 5–10-year trial requirements delayed therapies like KAIST’s reversion.
- Therapy tweaks need re-approvals, stalling innovation.
- High costs ($1–2B/drug) deter investment in novel approaches.
- **Impact of Less Red Tape**:
- **Faster Trials**: Organoid data could cut timelines by 50%, enabling human trials by mid-2010s.
- **Wider Reach**: Rapid testing on organoids could extend reprogramming to breast, lung cancers.
- **Personalized Therapies**: Patient-specific organoids could tailor treatments, speeding delivery.
- **Cheaper Treatments**: Lower regulatory costs via organoid testing would improve access.
- **Missed Opportunities**:
- Reprogramming could have achieved 90–98% early-stage survival rates by now.
- Could have replaced chemotherapy with targeted reversion, reducing side effects.
- Lab-grown blood could have ensured safe integration, bypassing animal tests.
- **Why Delays Persist**:
- Early gene therapy failures (e.g., 1999) led to strict safety rules, overcomplicating approvals.
- Bureaucracy prioritizes exhaustive data over innovation.
- Focus on profitable diseases sidelines rare cancers.
- **Path Forward**:
- Push for organoid data in regulatory approvals to skip lengthy trials.
- Standardize global regulations for faster therapy rollout.
- Fund PSC research for scalable, affordable cures.
**Conclusion**: CRISPR, organoids, and lab-grown blood could have made cancer manageable years ago, with reprogramming potentially curing many types. Red tape, though safety-driven, delayed progress. Streamlining approvals with organoid data can unlock cures faster and equitably.

To be fair, Tara is appropriately comparing the two.
There aren’t a-lot times in recent history that this comparison has been accurate, but this is one of those times that it is.
However, let’s not allow this to divide yourselves. You are fighting for the same team.

I've been consistently opposing UNDRIP and DRIPA and will continue to do so. However, whatever argument you are trying to make should be made without resorting to Nazi rhetoric. This is precisely the kind of language that led to the split in OneBC last December. PS: This may be the one and only time I agree with David Eby.

"For god's sake, stop complying. Start rebelling. They are out to get you if you do not resist."
German MEP, Christine Anderson: The so-called "pandemic" was a beta test—conducted by unelected globalists—to see how easy it would be to seize totalitarian control, under the pretext of a global "emergency."
"The goal, ultimately, is to transform our free and democratic societies into totalitarian societies. Their goal is to strip each and every one of us of our fundamental rights, of freedom, democracy, the rule of law. They want to get rid of all of this."
"In the entire history of mankind, there has never been a political elite concerned about the well being of regular people, and it isn't any different now."

@GrantCardone I would much rather cry in a lambo than a corolla.

It is certain that Donald Trump has done something huge in the middle east or he's planning to do one very soon.
First, he just announced Israel as the US's best ally. He said Israel is bold, courageous and smart.
Second, he posted the video of Iran people pleading for his help.
Third, he posted a video of the jackals and the lion. The jackals, hyenas barking and laughing at the lion until the Lion wakes up and tears the shit out of everybody.
And last, he posted the video of "the end is near..." by Frank Sinatra.

.@POTUS: For years, we were ruled by fools who let every third-rate country push us around and bleed us dry — but those days are OVER. America was not founded by weak and timid men who cowered in the face of evil or sat by as danger loomed. Our ancestors knew exactly what to do with America's enemies — BEAT THEM and beat them good.
