Confirmed by FA that @ManUtd did appeal the Lisandro Martinez red card v Leeds but it was rejected as not an obvious error. Excessive punishment claim also rejected on grounds hair pulling 'out not to be tolerated and should be discouraged'.

✅ Confirmed by the FA: #MUFC appealed Lisandro Martínez’s red card vs Leeds, but it was rejected on the basis it wasn’t a clear and obvious error. The claim of excessive punishment was also dismissed, with the FA stating hair pulling “ought not to be tolerated and should be discouraged.” [@sistoney67]

@theawayfans Why would they have to tell Nike the boots were for Paul Scholes? Ask for Scholesy’s size, pick up the phone to the Club’s Nike rep, tell ‘em you need a couple pairs of Tiempos, Total 90s etc for the coaches in sizes x, y and z. Done.

Back in 2012, Paul Scholes stunned everyone by coming out of retirement. He came off the bench as Manchester United edged Manchester City 3-2 in the FA Cup at the Etihad. The comeback was so secretive he could not even call Nike for boots. Instead, he nipped down to JJB Sports and picked up a £40 pair of T90s. "We were playing Man City away.
