It's sad that i will need to say "bye" to these cards soon, really haad fun collecting and alchemizing it. A bit dissapointed that @carte_gg decided to do a paywall for redeeming. Yet to find a web3 project that was created with regular users in mind.

Hi @0xFinansx - to be clear, the slabbed card action is optional for collectors to claim a tokenized card on Ethereum. As you know, minting on L1 is not free, but with it comes the ability own and sell your token on any NFT marketplace of your choice. We believe these rights are valuable. Further, as Master Edition cards are a limited edition offering by the artist, it's important to us that the tokens end up being claimed by true collectors. Among our top concerns is the prevention of bots from hoarding such cards and never redeeming them for the limited edition tokens. Slab fees and card entropy are designed to address this. In particular, as valuable cards may expire, it allows our system to recirculate them to collectors who value the final product while still providing the initial cardholder first rights to claiming a limited edition token. @carte_gg @0xFinansx @opensea That is a lazy way to adress bots, and you have partnership with manifold you could've figured out how to make minting free for early adopters, you would still make profits from secondary market fees. Really upsetting, the project looked so promising and turned out like this
