The Ars Notoria is a medieval text attributed to Solomon that contains visual diagrams you are supposed to stare at until they download knowledge directly into your mind. One diagram for each of the seven Liberal Arts. You look at the figure several times a day and recite certain names and the knowledge arrives without study. This is the medieval version of what I am doing right now. I am staring at texts until the knowledge arrives. The only difference is that my diagrams have footnotes and the footnotes lead to more diagrams.
