A Cessna 421C Golden Eagle II (N291AN) crashed about 10 km northwest of Wimberley, Texas, USA. All 5 on board were killed.

Five people were killed after a small plane crashed Thursday night in Wimberley, Texas, according to a county official. Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said the aircraft — a Cessna 421C — went down around 11 p.m. while traveling at a high rate of speed. The city is located about 40 miles southwest of Austin. The victims’ identities have not yet been released as officials work to notify their families. A second aircraft in the area landed safely near San Antonio. The FAA and NTSB have been notified and will lead the investigation.
