👏 Kudos to Raghav Chadha for raising this important issue in Parliament. ₹19,000 crore collected as penalties not from the rich, but from those who can least afford it. This is not just about banking rules, it’s about fairness and dignity. When farmers, pensioners, and daily wage workers are penalized for low balances, the system needs correction. 👉 Strong step calling for an end to minimum balance penalties. Still the river is clean because people simply don’t throw garbage in it. Here we say the river is like a mother. We do arti, fold our hands, and talk about great respect. But after that, plastic, flowers, bags, and garbage go straight into the same water. What kind of respect is this?

I love my country very much but truth be told, there is way too much garbage on the streets. Feels like vomiting sometimes but entire stretch sometimes in kms is just garbage dump. This is common amongst all cities under different administrations.

indians are finally realising how filthy dirty our cities are are raising the issue online. wish we did it earlier instead of crying that foreigners show "bad" side of india. swachh bharat abhiyan is the biggest scam of the last decade. RN INDIA IS THE MOST DIRTY IT'S EVER BEEN.

He is Jitendra Kumar Panda. He is General Category. He is an Additional Tehsildar in Odisha. He had only ₹80 lakh in cash. He had only 100 grams of gold. He had just 3 buildings. He had only 4 property plots. Such an insult to the dignity of an Additional Tehsildar’s post. The cash should have been in crores. The gold should have been in kilograms. 😭

Periods are natural. Stigma is not. If a girl misses school because there are no sanitary pads, no water and no privacy, it is not her personal problem. It is our collective failure. We live in a country where alcohol and cigarettes are sold openly, but sanitary pads are still wrapped in newspaper as if they must be hidden. Somewhere along the way, society turned a biological fact into a social taboo. A matter of science has been turned into a matter of silence. Menstrual hygiene is not charity. It is not a favour. It is not a side issue. It is a matter of health, education and equality. Above all, it is a matter of dignity. Raised this issue in Parliament today because it affects over 35 crore women and girls in India. A nation cannot call itself truly progressive if millions of girls still face fear, shame and silence for something so basic. The real test of progress is simple. The day every girl in India can go to school, live with dignity and speak about this without stigma, that will be the day we can truly say our society has moved forward.
