“it’s missing a petal” he’s looking at it more. it’s almost as if it broke off perfectly but it’s no where to be seen. “it melted but nothing else did?”

“ it melted . ” the cold seeps onto the milk—white of his skin without much trouble . it doesn’t bother him . “ almost ? … ” hums , tilting head .

the curvature of the petals is easy——just a flick of the pencil across the paper—white surface , & neck cranes to notice the boy , silent acknowledgment with a flicker of lashes . “ what do you think ? ” turns sketchbook towards the other , showing the sketch .
