We are in the middle of a cost of living crisis! We’ve been utterly abandoned by the Government and we are now facing a very cold bleak Christmas. Carers and PWD along with our elderly community are facing mounting fuel and food costs. The cost of living energy credits are gone that means we have to find €450 to make up just for that loss and there are more!!!! In-Fact up to €1800 in lost supports. This Xmas will be a cold bleak #Christmas for many of us unable to work through no fault of our own only that our Disabilty or ailing health fails us. It’s shameful that Government who platformed disabilty in reelection is adding more and more stress and pressure to our already stressful lives! #costoflivingcrisis

1/ Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do & we are looking for some very special volunteer families right now to look after some of our young adult broods. These females have passed all their medicals and been selected for breeding. We need to keep them close to Cork…

Magic’s puppies are now 2 wks old & their eyes are starting to open! They’re also starting to put their legs underneath them & learning to walk. Magic is a super mom. Our number one focus is on looking after Magic’s welfare ensuring she gets quality food,plenty of water & breaks

We are grateful to Prof Tim Lynch & team at the Neurological Institute of Dublin @ucddublin for their open minded approach to commencing this research a few years back. We are continuing to train Parkinson’s assistance dogs today alongside the institute as research progresses. 💜

🐾 It was our pleasure to present a €13,500 grant to @DogsforDisable. This funding will support a nationwide After-Care Support Vehicle, enabling the team to visit clients, supporting them and their families on any requests they may have.
