Yeah, ship names for both A/B and B/A exists. I remember this as far as Digimon (first two seasons). But nowadays people just try to use one ship name to force the "switch" dynamic into it.

"we never had t/b tags back then" because we had the shipname's order for top/bottom, people did use it and there always were A/B vs B/A discussions, just because you weren't into anime/asian media as a fetus doesn't mean it didn't exists lol
