Hello Mutuals, My name is Samiat and I’m a Brand and Comms girl. I’m a practicing Muslim. I have a degree in English Language from the University of Lagos, with a second class honors (Upper Division). I’ve always been a media girl, looking to major in PR or journalism as I grow up. I’m also a former Lagos state youth ambassador, representing Ikorodu Division, an initiative of the Lagos state government in creating vast representation of the youth at the state level. While I held that position, my colleagues and I went on a state government sponsored trip to Finland and Sweden, where we became Fellows of the Management Institute of Finland. This shows my background in Governance and public policy. Since age 8,while my mates watched cartoons, I have always watched the News and asked questions from my father about politics 😂 I don’t know why, I just love being able to contribute to political discourse and create my own impact in my community. The Lore behind my name ‘ Governor Samiat’ is that I am on a quest to be the first female governor of Lagos, it might seem far fetched but there’s nothing impossible. I’m a Lagosian by the way, and I’m always proud of that☺️☺️ As toxic as X might seem, it’s my favorite social media platform 😂 it opens your mind to different thoughts and ideas from different humans who have different backgrounds and experiences which shapes their ultimate personality. I was also a production intern for TVC and specifically produced YOUR VIEW, Morayo Afolabi-Brown is a mentor and Role Model 🌚 that’s why she can’t do any wrong in my own eyes o😂😂cos if you’re counting human beings, you’d count her 1 million times if you’ve worked with her. I’m open to all sorts of opportunities you think I’d likely do well in. If I wasn’t in communications, I’d most likely be an executive assistant, I genuinely love helping people and reducing people’s burden.
