Grid bots and DCA bots update: 20–24 days into grid + DCA testing in demo mode on @BloFin_Official
Main goal has been lowering fees while still making enough profit to justify tying up capital
Key lessons so far:
- Wider ranges + lower grid counts (20 instead of 80) + 3x lev has significantly reduced trading fee drag
- Fewer trades = lower total fees, even with slower arbitrages. Profit per cycle is now large enough to make the wait worthwhile
- DCA Buy hedge has been excellent at averaging dips without adding heavy fee burden
Current results:
• $20k grid (20 grids): +6.95% (+$1,390 realized)
• $5k grid (20 grids): +3.37%
• Longest bot (50 grids, 24 days): +0.08% with +$1,523 realized & 464 arbitrages
• DCA Buy bots: +8.41% and +8.15%
Fees have come down nicely compared to early high grid setups
The grind is slow but steady
Next steps:
- Keep the best performing grids running
- Test even wider ranges + lower grids to push fees down further
- Slightly increase invested amount on winning setups
- Continue letting DCA hedge average dips
