Sophomore Spotlights #2: LHP Colin Fraser
Colin spent his freshman season alternating between a starting role and in long relief out of the bullpen. He throws his four pitches with distinct movement patterns and has continued to put on velocity while still having command of the strike zone.
Sophomore Spotlight #3: INF Bobby Trigg
Bobby returns to the Bulldogs for his second season after showing some special flashes during his freshman campaign. His compact and powerful swing pairs well with his ability to play multiple infield positions. After putting in work this offseason, and with some added time in the yoga studio, Trigg is ready for year two. @BobbyTrigg2024
Sophomore Spotlight #4: RHP Tahvo Latvala
Tahvo had a very transformative summer and fall, simplifying and finding consistency in his delivery. While he still showed some true flashes of his high potential out of the bullpen his freshman season, he has worked hard to be more steady. He will look to carry over that growth he showed this fall into the spring season for the Bulldogs.

Sophomore Spotlight #6: RHP Tommy Zook
Somehow, I think Zook may have gotten taller since his freshman year. But more importantly, he has cleaned up his pitch shapes and began pounding the zone with increased velocity this fall. The Bulldogs are excited to see him translate that to this spring season.

Sophomore Spotlight #8: LHP Skyler Lynch
Skyler stepped up in some big moments for the Bulldogs in the 2024 season. After using his medical redshirt last year, he has been working hard to come back strong for this spring. The team is excited to see Lynch back up on the hill at Courter Field.
Sophomore Spotlight #7: Catcher Braeden Reese
After a promising first season, Braeden came back this fall as a stronger and more improved version of his freshman self. He cleaned up his throwing mechanics, added more lean muscle mass, and saw it translate to both his offense and defense performances the last few months. The Bulldogs are excited to see Reese continue to grow into a leader and be an even bigger contributor for the team this spring.

Sophomore Spotlight #5: Catcher Zack Hudson
Zack finished last season with some strong numbers at the plate for the Bulldogs. He is a patient hitter who drives runners in when the opportunity arises. Behind the dish he has a quick release and quick feet to all bases, with a steady presence no matter the situation.
BC Sophomore Spotlight #1: SS Caden Kennelly
Caden returns to the Bulldogs for his second year after holding down the shortstop position during his freshman season. His consistency on defense and constant line drive approach has continued to show through again this fall.
