@farawaywater @MHSAA How can we work on the basics when we have to be able to meet in person in the school? My swimmers are not allowed to practice even though we have proven that we can do it safely. At some point you have to consider the mental welfare of all of the student athletes as well.

@MHSAA As a parent, really can't fathom caring all that much about sports this year. God forbid you just work on the basics with your kids for now, and look forward to next year.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is holding a press conference at 2:30 p.m. with the MDHHS. I'm sure there will be an update on the epidemic order and what it will mean for prep sports going forward.

PLAYERS: Just remember that everybody wants to be a champion, but not everyone is willing to prepare to be a champion.
