This afternoon, in the presence of the Minister of Kampala, Hon. Hajati Minsa Kabanda, hundreds of pastors and thousands of mourners, I represented His Excellency the President @KagutaMuseveni and Mama @JanetMuseveni at the memorial service held at Gaba Community Ministry Compound. I conveyed His Excellency’s heartfelt condolence message and extended a contribution of UGX 10 million to each family that lost a baby during the incident, in a spirit of solidarity with the grieving parents. His Excellency assured the mourners that security will remain a top priority and that justice will be served to the criminal now in detention. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

@AKasingye Whatever is happening is the norm. This usually happens after every election since 2005 (21 years ago) when the President spoke of seeing flies in State House to de-campaign Ssebana Kizito (RIP). Uganda has bigger problems than those.
