How about this for a start? @AuthorDanBrown & @susanbatori 's cool picture book Wild Symphony. Too many literacy skills: rhyme, rhythm, vowel pairs and patterns, inflected endings, figurative language, poetic writing, author's craft, inference...and the poems and music are fun!

More @Ms_VJohnson...take those classic songs (or even some new ones) and let the kids make them their own. Add their own lines and movements to Down by the Bay, change the lines of a song, Twinkle, Twinkle little... (instead of star), We Are the...(instead of dinosaurs).

Yes @Ms_VJohnson! Books based on some classic rhyming songs; read the book first. Like from Keith Baker, Mary Hoberman, Iza Trapani, Raffi... Let the children help you create the movements. Sing and move! Great for brain breaks and phonological awareness too.
