EES 4th Grade

Gracie, from BCAWS, visited EES yesterday. Our kiddos loved on her and gave her lots of hugs as she made her rounds. Oh, all the smiles! #eessoars

Two more 4th graders have successfully passed 70 or more reading i-Ready lessons. Woot woot! Way to go, Ian and Cassidy! #eessoars

We did it! We are done with our TCAP testing! They've worked hard. We've celebrated a bit and now to enjoy these kiddos for just a little longer. I have missed working with my kids and having a regular schedule! Today, we played around a bit with cause and effect. #eessoars

We had a "DONUT Stress about the Test" celebration today! Mini donuts are the best and so are these kiddos! They are going to rock these TCAPs!! #eessoars

It was an exciting day for our EES kiddos as they headed off to compete in the Special Olympics! #eessoars

Checking in on our understanding of run-ons, comma splices, and complete sentences with a little team game today! We might have distracted the other classes with all of our cheering and rooting each other on. 😄

We were flipping for fragments, run-ons, and complete sentences yesterday. We only lost two pennies the whole day, which were eventually found in the corners of the classroom. 😄 We also found lots of laughs and learning! I sure do love these 4th graders! #eessoars

These rowdy colonists were out of hand today! Some even had to go to debtors' prison for refusing to pay the King's taxes or not being able to pay. Seems they are not happy anymore and are ready to revolt! #eessoars #americanrevolution

It was a perfect day for a field trip! We went to see a play at the Civic Auditorium and then enjoyed a picnic outside. Not a bad way to start the week! #eessoars

Today's task...understanding that there are many sides to a story and people's perspectives can influence how they understand that story. We also learned that we can't know the whole story without all of the facts! Great teamwork today! #eessoars
