@Howard_Cole@YankeesFanEarl@TrolleyDodgahs Yes, but baseball doesn’t happen in a vacuum. If Skubal sticks around and pitches against DR, then Skenes slides into this spot. The entire dynamic of the bracket changes based on who is available and who is not.
I understand this will be a stain on Aaron Judge’s legacy and that’s fair but Tarik Skubal should also never be allowed to live this down. Loser refused to pitch but still wanted to show up and sit in the dugout with the guys and wear the hockey jersey walking in.
@bradenfragerfan You don’t have an impressive road win besides us, which we avenged. A total of two road and neutral site wins vs teams in the field. And you failed to play a non-conference game against a single tournament team.
As everyone tries to compare Nebraska and Iowa State to Illinois and feel like they deserve a better seed…
Illinois 7-7 in Q1. And 17-0 in Q2-Q4.
6 out of their 7 losses are Q1A.
6 out of their 7 wins are Q1A.

@GOLDENSBURNER How many games are in the final 4 minutes at any given time? Two maybe? Times are so staggered that there are only 4 games maximum being played at any time I think.
hear me out.
ESPN should do a NFL Red zone type of stream for March Madness. The stream switches back and forth between potential upsets and close games that are under the 4 minute mark.
Mick Cronin starts his presser post the Nebraska win speaking about the tip-off time of this game (8 p.m. PT, 10 p.m. CT) being exceptionally late given that students of both teams need to go to class tomorrow morning.
@pavelkasuncle But also, 8 other teams have also been unable to sweep on the west coast swing. Not entirely unexpected if we are being real with ourselves.
Extended road trips (B2B road games) are inherently different from one-off away games. But for a team that figured it out last spring in Vegas + KC this fall, this has been a little bit of a surprise.
@Jack_John_Mark It will be interesting to see how it’s officiated differently in the Dance. Either pryce will get 12 open looks or there will be 10 fouls called on restriction of movement.
@belmont_bill_ You’re watching a different game than me. Shots aren’t falling, tired legs, late start time goes even later due to tv.
Not making excuses, making fun of Cronin.
@pavelkasuncle That’s one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen. It’s the same idea as not letting a guy land on a three point shot. A guy in the air and you slide underneath him.
@RobinWashut And water is wet.
Dude quit down 3(!) points yesterday. Was totally gassed trying to play defense in the 1H. Decided he’d rather sit by a fan on the baseline.
Best of luck buddy.
@BoilerDadRodney@PurdueWhiskey Everyone wants a team of Coen Carrs until they realize 1) those guys don’t grow on trees and 2) uber athletes consistently end up playing American conference basketball because they’ve relied on athleticism and never developed any touch or defense.
@PurdueWhiskey I know this, we are missing athletes. Gee, I wonder how we’d be with a couple of pure athletes on this team? Guys that can jump and are aggressive. Hmm, I wonder.
@T3Bracketology@grok No, I was just asking whether it’s happened in the history of the tournament. I like you a lot but this response is “clown shit” for me. Best of luck to you man.
More NCAAT seeding implication results.
-Arizona defeats Kansas at home. Another big game for Burries. Arizona & KU remain at a 1 & 3 seed respectively
-Nebraska wins at USC. Huskers still in the 3 seed mix, USC is out with another missed opportunity. Sandfort = Klay?
-Wisconsin wins at Washington. With some of the 6 seed line losing today, Badgers very much in the hunt to be a 6 seed in the next update
