More than a quarter of unpaid carers looking after a loved one with dementia have said they're worse off financially because of their responsibilities, according to the Alzheimer's society. The charity is calling on the government to do more to support them.

Week 5 of the neighbour's "3 day with a bit of disruption" building project; week 5 of constant drilling, hammering, electric sawing. Adding to the joy this week is looking after the mum in law's dog who has decided the stress of staying with us has given her explosive diarrhoea!
