@gustavkassel is a voice of reason in these times regarding remigration, national security and isolationism. Although I would still cast my vote for Örebropartiet as they (in 2026) share a lot of similarities. And as a young bi man I would never affiliate with AfS.

@Alejandro_SocEU My honest guess right now is 🌹S - 27-30% 🇸🇪SD - 21-25% Ⓜ️M - 15-17% 🌻MP - 6-8% 🚩V - 6-8% 🍀C - 5-8% ✝️KD - 5-7% 🗽L - 4-5% Right 47-51% Left 47-51% …

@EUstatistic Two questions: forecast for the September elections, and how significant are the gains of the left among the urban middle class compared to the traditional liberal right.

@TheBestOfSweden @Alejandro_SocEU And you can see that the more post-industrial municipalities in the Gothenburg area for example (Ale, Kungälv, Lilla Edet, Stenungsund) the right made some gains, despite the proximity to Gothenburg.

@TheBestOfSweden @Alejandro_SocEU Especially in the north of Sweden (except the larger towns/cities) there was a large jump for SD in 2022, and even M and KD made gains as S, Centre Party and the Left party lost voters. In the south, the more urban it gets, the right lost voters.

@EUstatistic @Alejandro_SocEU Yes, those areas that have voted 60% S and 75% red-green for 50 years might aswell start voting 60% SD and 75% right-wing🤷‍♂️

@Alejandro_SocEU Meanwhile polarization is extreme in the three largest cities. I might be biased but I think that the left of S voters are the main antagonizers as they frame all parties to the right, but also S as “right-wing”, “racist” and “traitors”.

@Alejandro_SocEU Essentially in Sweden you don’t really have that much polarization on the countryside and in industrial towns as most voters there are somewhat socially conservative, left-leaning economically and anti-immigration. So it’s easy to just change from S to SD in those areas.

L lite närmare spärren, men fortfarande långt ifrån. Hur en regering skulle se ut med ett sånt här resultat vet ingen, men man får vara glad så länge S-MP-V inte kan bilda regering.

@Alejandro_SocEU @BuschEbba 2/2 All and all I think Spain and Sweden have very different needs and so I do think it’s wise to expand nuclear energy —> Another idea by liberals have been to build dams in the large Tornio river flowing from Norway and which constitutes the border between SE/FI, also bad imo.

@Alejandro_SocEU 1/2 I see! I think it us important to ask the local population about these topics. Many Swedes feel that wind and solar power destroys the beauty of nature and wind power is sometimes referred to as ”steel forests” (by for example @BuschEbba ).

🔴🇪🇸 Spain’s government response to the energy crisis: 🛢️ Fuel VAT cut: 21% → 10% 💡 Lower electricity costs via tax cuts ❌ Hydrocarbon tax removed to ease fuel prices 🧰 Expanded support for vulnerable households 🚜 Aid for farmers facing rising costs

@POLITICOEurope The agreed upon rules not working in their favor so just change the rules? Pathetic. Sweden’s PM should clean up his own country where bombings and shootings and rape have become everyday. Or is it just easier hiding behind UvL and her gang’s rampage destroying all of Europe?

Hungary’s Viktor Orbán has faced “very, very harsh” criticism at the European Council, Sweden’s PM Ulf Kristersson said. It’s a level of condemnation he says he has never heard at an EU summit before. Follow our live blog: #id_1322213" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">politico.eu/article/make-o…

@POLITICOEurope Uhhhhh that’s should be a “very, very harsh letter” from the Council! Who gives a flying fuck? There are literally NAZIES next to our border with a mouth that can swallow all the money we have and literally block the flow of oil to Europe while we have an energy crisis.

@gfinockio @CanadianPolling We have a bunch of private schools, we don’t have a guarantee for basic income and our prisons and sentencing are being reformed to become less focused on rehabilitation and for criminals to serve longer sentences.

@CanadianPolling The solution is to follow the leads of the Nordic countries that consistently rank in the top 10. Abolishing private schools. Basic income guarantees. Prison standards focused on rehabilitation. Increased taxes for the wealthiest citizens. Happiness.
