i will explain this to you like a 12 yo, think of money like water in a river... if water is flowing, it stays fresh and useful. if it just sits in one place, it becomes stagnant... money works the same way, when it’s moving (coming in, going out, being invested) it grows and multiplies... money loves water means rich people don’t just keep money sitting still they create many paths (like rivers and streams) where money keeps flowing... businesses, investments, assets so it keeps coming back to them over and over again. ever noticed how financial terms mirror water? cash flow, liquidity, revenue streams, river banks, capital pools, spillover effects etc… none of it is random. learn something 👍

In a state with some of the highest taxes and utility costs in the country, that wage is a mathematical dead end that barely covers rent and gas, leaving nothing for a future. The reason this worker snapped wasn't just about the dollar amount; it was about the crushing realization that he was trading his physical health and forty hours of his week for a life that would never actually progress. The lack of empathy in your post shows a deep disconnection from the modern reality of the working class. You are judging a desperate man's breaking point from the safety of your own financial cushion while ignoring that people are tired of being told to be grateful for scraps. It must be a nice luxury to mistake your own comfort for a universal standard of living while everyone else is just trying to keep their heads above water. Since you think it is so livable, I assume you will be heading to that warehouse to pick up his shifts.

It is terrifying to realize that the state is quietly making the choice to sign you up for war before you even have a chance to think for yourself. By automating military registration while everyone is distracted, they are treating your life like a line item in a budget. It is a cold way to tell a whole generation that their bodies and their futures are basically government property that can be called up whenever a politician decides they need more leverage. Calling this a step toward peace is a total lie. You don't build a peaceful society by making it easier to send people to die without their active consent. True sovereignty is about owning your own future and refusing to let a system turn your life into a standby resource for a war you didn't ask for. It is a reminder that we have to stay awake and look out for each other, because the people in power are clearly already planning for a world where your individual choice no longer matters.

It is deeply condescending to tell a generation to just deal with it when the math of basic survival has been fundamentally broken. While you grew up in a world where a regular job could eventually pay off a home, young people are now operating in an economy where the cost of living has skyrocketed while their pay remains stuck in the past. Claiming life is not fair is a convenient way to avoid admitting that the stable path you walked on was intentionally demolished by the policies your generation supported. Young people are not looking for someone to hand them a perfect world, but they are rightfully angry that shelter has become a speculative asset for the wealthy rather than a place to live. It is easy to act tough about the harshness of reality when you are sitting on decades of equity that current workers will never be able to build. If you actually believe in hard work and self-reliance, you should be the first person fighting for a system where that effort actually results in a front door key. It must be nice to mistake your good timing for superior character.

This happened to me with bananas. I used to love them and now the texture just gags me out. I recently resuced a stray hen and giving her a nutritional diet has made her eggs like orange gold and they are so delicious and so good for your eyes and brain. But, listen to your body. Your intuition is your most important tool.

As women gain more independence and define their own worth, some men feel a loss of the domestic and emotional control they were historically promised. This level of detachment is only possible because society often celebrates men for doing the bare minimum while expecting women to sacrifice every part of their physical and mental well-being without complaint. Real partnership is built on the understanding that showing up when things are difficult is the only thing that actually matters. When you broadcast your absence as a joke for a sign you are telling your wife and the world that your entertainment is more important than her safety or the arrival of your own child. That kind of profound selfishness is exactly why so many women feel like they are single parents even when they are married. True respect is shown through action and choosing to be anywhere else at that moment is a loud statement of where your true loyalties lie.

Too many young people are resenting Boomers, claiming that Boomers had it " easy " financially in their youth. Here are a few fun facts about growing up Boomer. 1. Almost everyone grew up with one bathroom. Mom, Dad and all 3-6 siblings. 2. If you did get to take a vacation, you drove. With no air conditioning. No cup holders. No iPads. Just black vinyl seats and bologna sandwiches. 3. There were no club sports. No Parks and Rec activities. Summer camp was for rich kids. Get yourself a bike, a stick and a few friends. If you were bored, you laid in the grass and looked at clouds. 4. You ate what was served. Even if it was chicken livers. No DoorDash, no backup Totino's rolls. 5. No AP classes, no PSEO, no "fun" elective. They assigned you to a class. You went. You did what they asked. Or else. 6. Unless you had rich parents, you had a nice VFW wedding. Maybe rent a room at a modest hotel. 7. Most Boomers got their first pedi and mani in their 50s (when their feet got farther away). We didn't even know people got massages in real life, only in Hollywood. 8. You packed your own lunch for decades. 9. No one knew what red light therapy was, a facial, a spa day, or a cold plunge. Your gym was the YMCA. Usually in a rather old building. 10. We grew up with 18 percent inflation, 14 percent mortgage rates, 3 million continuing unemployment claims, and 200 other applicants competing for the same job. Now, this is not to say Millenials and Gen Z have it easy or don't face problems. It's just to say, nobody has it easy or doesn't face problems. My only hope, as my mom would say, is I live long enough to see my kids' kids complain about how easy they had it!

Real intimacy requires two people who are equally present and self aware rather than one person holding a history of life lessons over someone else. True maturity is realizing that your value is not a resource to be preserved or spent according to someone else's double standards. You reclaim your sovereignty the moment you stop letting outdated social hierarchies define your worth based on your level of obedience.
