Earlier this week, Ph.D. candidate @yifanpeng_econ presented his practice job talk to a group of faculty and peers in ACE. His presentation was titled "Food Bank Responses to Major Disasters." Great job, Yifan!👏

Last-minute opening! A presenter had to back out of the agriculture-productivity session I organized for #SEA(Monday before Thanksgiving). If you're attending and have any research on agriculture related topics, please DM me if you’re interested in stepping in! #econtwitter

@EconAnne @AJAE_AAEA This is perfect! A great example of broadening the textbook Q, P demand concept. Just like with Pandora’s ad load = "price", this is another great example of implicit price. And congrats on this paper again! Looks like it has changed a lot since the last time I saw it!

Hivemind! #EconTwitter 📊 I'm on the hunt for real-world demand curve examples—ideally with experimental variation. Where should I look? Bonus for papers with estimated price and cross-price elasticities! Already have great examples from Uber and Pandora Radio—what else is out there?

@JuraWho Cool! There are lots of demand curves to be found in @AJAE_AAEA, including experiments and curves estimated from secondary/“real world” data. Are any of those kinds of articles in line with what you’re looking for? I can throw our some examples if that’s helpful.
