This is excellent news for Edinburgh university thanks to all the hard work that went on behind the scenes by @ChrisMurrayMP , @IanMurrayMP, @DrScottArthurMP and @tracygilbert72!

This Labour government is committed to devolution. Over the next 3 yrs, it will provide an extra £9.1BN for Scottish public services - the biggest settlement since devolution began. The SNP must now step up and invest in our NHS, police, housing & schools. No excuses.

…this massive investment in Scotland’s capital rather than trying to manufacture grievance for once? Thanks to Edinburgh having a voice at the heart of Government, we’ve been able to unlock massive investment in our city. Something to welcome!

This Labour Government is putting Scotland at the centre of global supercomputing with the new £750 million Edinburgh Supercomputer

Truly phenomenal decision. They say data is the new oil, and Edinburgh is at the cutting edge of innovation. But this massive decision, that we’ll be home to the UK’s supercomputer, will turbo-charge for innovation and growth. Brilliant for Edinburgh, brilliant for Scotland.
