I have come to learn that problems know when to show up.
In 2013, I had some pressure so I decided to accept an offer for my Subaru Impreza Sport from a guy who had been pestering me to buy it for years.
Drove to Choma on a Thursday, in the night, dude paid me K26,000 cash Friday morning. Walked into Stanchart Choma, deposited the money and on my way out, I got a call that my dad had just died.
The whole K26k went towards sorting out funeral bills.

Yesterday I made a total of k2800 in sales and by 4pm I broke my phone and spent K3000 to fix it, I told my boy I will have to do double what I lost yesterday today and I did!

I pray that one day all government hospitals start offering palliative care to patients. Sending them home doesn’t really help much as it stresses the families that don’t know how to properly care for their dying relative😢. This is sad💔

I went to see a friend who has been in UTH since Jan 1. A govt 🚑 brought from Kasama GH. The cancer has spread & dialysis is not yielding desired results. He is discharged for homecare. A GRZ 🚑 to take him back to Kasama needs 18k for fuel & allowances for driver & a nurse.

@SeverinoTheWolf Thank you. I still have a few family photographs on printed paper. I used my phone to keep copies in case we loose them! Unfortunately with time, most of the equipment has been lost. I still have one of those very old cameras where you load a "film roll"!

Quick fixes and last minute clean ups in Livingstone because the President is expected in town.
Without the high ranking visitors road maintenance and infrastructure repairs would only be done on paper.
Nakatindi Road and the access roads to the truck yards need to be changed to heavy duty concrete or pavers. Better would be a Livingstone bypass and truck yards in Kazungula.

Yesterday was our long-standing security officer’s birthday and we made a surprise gift bearing for him. Man’s walked out with close to a 10k w groceries. Gave him the floor and all he could reciprocate was his inability to fathom the whole situation. My heart is still in acid😩
