Time to meet another officer… My name is Janae and I am your president of Educators Rising Kentucky. I’m a senior at Ballard High School! I love hanging out with friends and am involved in school events. I love having a good time and wanted to be a teacher since elementary.

Time for… Kennedy Owens, a senior at Nelson County High School. I’m Director Of Membership of Educators Rising Kentucky. Reminiscing on State, I love connecting and meeting other schools around the state of! This year I hope to gain new members and lifelong friends!

Introducing our next state officer…Philena Ash, I go Bullitt Central High School, I’m Director of Service and Outreach. My favorite memory was at national conference,me and my friends. Waiting, we made voices and giggled while my friends were practicing for their competition.

The Kentucky Educators Rising 2023-2024 State officers are here, let’s meet Lilly Hibbs from Union County High School! I am honored to be Vice President. Reflecting on memories I love the state competition and connecting with other schools! This year I hope to gain membership!

Ella Marshall will be attending @UKCollegeofEd, with dreams to be a middle school special education teacher! Ella has spent this past semester in a senior internship with @ludlowschools!! Mrs. Seifert (@I_decline) has played an important role in Ella’s desire to become a teacher!

PJ Nader will be attending @UKCollegeofEd, with plans to become a middle school social studies teacher! PJ is the @EdRisingKY state runner-up in Researching Learning Challenges!! This past year in Intro to Education, PJ truly loved observing @joshua_bystry’s 6th grade classroom!

Ash Nordman, our chapter President, will be attending @nkucoe to study music education and special education! Ash is the @EdRisingKY Leadership Award state champion and the Researching Learning Challenges state runner-up!! @msrossmusic inspired Ash’s decision to become a teacher!

We were finally able to celebrate the 2023 @EducatorsRising National Signing Day this afternoon (illness disrupted our plans last week)! Congratulations to these 3 @beechwood_tiger graduating seniors who are pursuing a career in education!! @EdRisingKY #FutureEducator #EdRising23

Congratulations to 14 graduating @HardinCoSchools Ss who participated in the @EdRisingKY National Signing Day today! These Grow Your Own Topper Teacher candidates will join @WKUCEBS ready to start education clinical classes this fall & spring. The future is bright!
