UT Arlington choosing to fire Scott Cross, who was an alum, remains the most baffling, insane decision of the last decade plus in college basketball. So happy for him that he’s just kept doing his thing and crushing it. Awesome basketball coach who gets to go dancing again.

It took Scott Cross two years to turn around Troy, has won 20+ games for five straight years now including back to back NCAA Tourney appearances. After winning 20+ games three straight years at UT Arlington with seven straight years at .500 or better in conference.

The McDonald’s AA game, once the most prestigious high school basketball game, is losing respectability. The Bryson Howard snub is just one of many factors contributing to this decline. This cut may be an all-time low due to the surrounding circumstances. At this point, we should all be supporting the Iverson Classic instead. @alleniverson Texas has been disrespected yet again.
