We bought this book on Wednesday afternoon and half an hour later the author, Christopher Rush, walked in and was able to sign it - 32 years after the illustrator Mairi Hedderwick

Sometimes a book looks better without the dust jacket. It's not the done thing but I think I will bin the jacket.
