HB 43 allows landlords to opt in to accepting reusable tenant screening reports, meaning renters can use the same credit report for 30 days instead of paying for a new one with each application. This is not required for landlords but gives them the option to help Florida residents save money on application fees and prevent multiple hard credit pulls, which can lower credit scores. A win for affordability and financial stability!
