This February, we attended Hillman Elementary School’s Parent-Teacher Conferences and had a great time connecting with so many potential substitutes! The day was made even sweeter with Fat Tuesday donuts for families. 🍩 We also want to give a special shoutout to Hillman’s elementary principal for his continued support. Kathleen has been a game changer for the district: “At times, Ms. Kathy has been asked to step into a class in which the teacher was not prepared for a substitute and did not have adequate lesson plans for class. On those few occassions, Ms. Kathy has walked into a room full of students who are off-task and unprepared for learning. Within moments, she has regained control of the class, analyzed the lack of content and material, and quickly thought of an activity that kept instruction flowing and students engaged. She performed the Heimlich maneuver, clearing the child’s airway and preventing a medical emergency. Following the incident, Donna was interviewed by local news and recognized by the Wright City R-II School District for her courageous actions. Today, we're thrilled to recognize Taylor Bristol as the St. Joseph School District November 2025 Excellence Award recipient! ⭐️ Taylor was nominated by multiple staff members at Truman Middle School, where she was surprised with the award during a classroom celebration. Joined by her students, Truman’s principal, fellow staff members, and her mom (who also serves as Truman’s social worker), it was clear just how loved and appreciated Taylor is. “Truman is a better place when Taylor is present! She goes above and beyond to build relationships with some of our toughest tigers. She checks in on them even when she is not in our building. This says a lot about her character and her heart for kids.” 👏 Congratulations, Taylor!

Our team is spreading the holiday cheer! 🎄 With Christmas just around the corner, West View Elementary School needed gently used toys for their school store. Jessica stepped up by going into her own “toy graveyard” at home and donating toys on behalf of Edustaff. Thank you, Jessica, for supporting students in such a meaningful way. 💙 We’re so grateful for team members who embody the holiday spirit!
