But pause for a second Would you say nothing has changed in your life? Would you reject your own progress simply because Lagos is still ahead? This is where many people miss the point. Because this is not just a story. This is Nigeria from my perspective. The new CEO represents the President. The salary increase represents increased allocations to state governments. The welfare package represents what is going to local governments. So yes Lagos may still be ahead. But that does not cancel the fact that more resources are now coming in across the board.
