The history books are going to look at the #NHLJets letting Ehlers walk and thinking Gus Nyquist et al. could replace him as the most egregious front office mistake in team history.

We have TOI going back 30 years now. For sub 17 min players with >25 GP (~10,000 player seasons): Ehlers now owns the 10th, 19th, 39th, and 53rd highest point per game seasons. (two of which are also the 3rd and 8th best sub 16 minute seasons)

Hearing first set of #CBJ exit interviews. One thing remains true even despite last night. The players love Rick Bowness. They’d like him to come back. Personally came into week thinking he wasn’t coming back. Now believe there’s real chance he’s back.

@GolkingDNI I always think it's shit like this that probably is what actually left Mark Scheifele off team Canada. Cooper probably doesn't think he's very coachable and honestly that's a fair assessment.
This is also why I don't think you can win a cup if Scheifele and Connor are your best.
