Ella’s life remembered

Sadly Ella lost her fight with cancer. She gave her best shot as she did with everything in her life.

That Kevin Sinfield has not been given a knighthood in the #NewYearsHonours is disgraceful. He deserved one for his achievements on the field alone, but what he has done over the last three years for his friend Rob Burrow and the entire MND community is nothing short of amazing.

I’ve always loved #ItsAWonderfulLife parts of it resonate even more these days & I cry within minutes of the opening credits We’ve known so much kindness & generosity since Laura’s diagnosis, it’s only fair we try to put something back. We’ve such a lot to be thankful for ❤️

On Boxing Day we’re hosting our 3rd big party @giddykips for struggling families, young carers & refugees. Santa’s gifts are ready in the grotto & we’ve prepped Xmas dinner for 200. All Laura’s idea but it takes a team to make it happen. Wishing you love & peace this Christmas❤️

Laura’s faced with the worst situation imaginable but never felt sorry for herself or moaned about the unfairness, she’s just got on with living, really living her life. Today is a gift, my daughter taught me that.

🧵It’s no exaggeration to say this is a day we didn’t think we’d see. Even 2 weeks ago when Laura was admitted to The Christie, things were pretty touch and go but today this incredible girl turns 23. we are so proud of her tenacity & resilience but also her compassion & kindness
