Q: Can you share how you prepared for your role? #21세기대군부인 #perfectcrown ❤️ : to express Heejoo’s personality, I’m actually someone who tends to think a lot and take a moment before I act. But to express her as someone who speaks very directly, I workon how she uses her voice.. like speaking quickly in some moments, sounding more commanding in certain situations and then in other moments, speaking softly and gently, almost like she’s coaxing someone. I tried to think a lot about that kind of rhythm, and how Heejoocarries herself depending on her position when dealing with people. I prepared while considering her character from many different angles like that 💙 : For Daegun, he’s actually royal figure people really love and admire, so I focused deep on this aspect. Because of that I tried to be more careful with everything he says and does. I also tried to look at people more gently and deliver my lines in a more calmly. like he’s someone who would think things through once more in his mind before speaking.. so I focused on that. I also lowered my tone a bit while acting Cr: vogue hongkong

Ok but can we talk about lee ahn’s opening scene? This is not just introduction, they made this scene deliberately to show who he really is first of all the shower scene right after the hunt is not random or to make girls scream😂 We could see him washing off blood and this separates the man (hunter) from the prince (regent attending a royal event) Hence, lee ahn has 2 sides Raw lee ahn- hunt, blood, aggression Refined lee ahn- palace, politics The shower is the boundary between them. His first ever line: “after seeing blood all morning… i remain fervid” This line alone REVEALS his entire character What it tells us is that 1.) He is not numb to violence 2.) He actually feels intensity from it 3.) There is a suppressed fire inside him The nuance? He doesn’t say this in anger. He says it casually. …. And that’s what makes it unsettling. It shows that he is comfortable with intensity, he just knows how to hide it😌 Now he points the rifle to choi hyeon creating tension then smiles reveals it’s a joke It’s not just for comedic purposes, it shows he has control over fear Which shows he knows how to create tension and when to release it … and that’s power, exactly what Yirang is afraid of. Well to wrap it up, his introduction scene sets up: His suppressed nature His dangerous side His duality Which means.. He is a man who can be dangerous… but chooses not to be for now😎 This man is a ticking time bomb, he just needs someone to push him to unleash his fire underneath🔥 #PerfectCrown
