@Eruda101 @Sebbywebz Maybe? I think Square Enix saw that and started course correcting their PS/Epic Games exclusivity and putting their efforts in porting their recent games to other consoles/steam. I bought FF Strangers in Paradise like 1-2 years later in steam because it was a EGS exclusive.

Yes. This is how a lot of people feel If a game can’t break out of its niche, that’s the game’s fault. Not the player’s I’m not saying the games in-between are bad (whatever they might be) But I am saying that none captured the world’s attention the way FF7-X did, until Expedition 33 This meme is not a sick burn. It’s a sad reflection of a genre that could be so much better

@Sebbywebz I think your point could come across better if we started talking about popularity and not about mechanics. Some studios (like Square Enix) should learn how to market their games like the E33 did. There are great RPGs that came before R33 but does not have that recognition.

Square Enix have taken action against the admin of a Japanese FF14 news blog that published defamatory articles against FF14 staff! Square Enix filed a request with the site’s provider for the admins details, in which the provider complied. The two parties reached a settlement, with the admin agreeing to shut down the site, publish an apology and pay an undisclosed settlement amount. @Sebbywebz FF12 is a fun game to go out grind and explore. Story wise is an absolute disgrace of a game. The combat following msq only is an absolute joke. It does get hard on the later hunts and hidden bosses.

@Sebbywebz Well more like born on the OGs haha i worded it wrong. OG ff7 was my very first FF. When 7R release i bought it day one and started playing. The moment Sephiroth shows before Cloud escape on the train i roller my eyes deleted the game and never looked back.

I was 1 when the original Fallout released i still played it in 2024 and enjoyed it for what it is. But some ppl cant go back in time and apreciate a work that was made for a diferent era i guess... sucks for them tho.
