People laughing at the idea of the Grey Knights assassinating Emperor, when half the Astartes Legions couldn't get the job done - but that's the point right? The only dudes who stand half a chance are marines that can sneak teleport. Frontal assault is out, they are a scalpel

People really hate the idea of Grey Knights murdering the Emperor - yes, it would be very hard, maybe even impossible. No, they wouldn't stand a chance against all the emperor's defenders in a fair fight. Who else would stand any chance of doing it? It's a hail mary

@Ex_Profundis How does that work? The Grey Knight program had just started when Emps flopped onto the throne.

@Ex_Profundis I think it shows the decline of the Grey Knight’s position in the lore. There was a time when Grey Knights were seen in the same light as the Custodes. Now people scoff at the idea of them fighting.
