I see a lot of people claiming the shooting in Montreal wasn't an incel motivated attack. That's because most people lack understanding of what goes on inside the incel web forum. Lonely, mentally ill young men are radicalized with anti-woman rhetoric that argues a violent revolution is the only path forward. Concepts like hypergamy, anti-feminism, marxist/communism, anarchism, and even radical islam are all very commonly used to convince them of this. The rhetoric often takes the form of long, well-researched diatribes complete with sources and reading recommendations meant to draw the reader further down the radicalization rabbit hole. This is the hallmark of accelerationist infiltration. Whether the target is incels, transgenders, 4channers, etc, the method is always the same. Infiltrate, blend in, and try to convince as many of them as possible that violent attacks against the established order are the only possible solution to their problem. On the incel web forum, other incels are already calling the shooter a "Saint" and praising him. They are digging to find out if he had an account on the forum. A site superuser (AsiaCel) gave advice on how he could accomplish more kills using vehicle attacks. They called his manifesto based and referenced previous posters on the forum who espoused similar views. Most of all, they are laughing at the discourse around the female cop, using it to prove to themselves that the shooting was justified, and hoping it will bring more users to the website.
