If they didn’t have Impaire Et Passe (for Willie) and Jonbon (for JP) there is no way he wouldn’t run. They are doing it to make a statement that it should be watered when they want. What chance do we have as punters.

Honestly how can you not run Fact To File. The ground looks perfect, yes it’s slightly quick but it’s safe and raining again. He’s nine, form on all ground, what you saving him for, madness. It’s going to be much quicker at Aintree and Punchestown.

I’m on AIR OF ENTITLEMENT at 16/1 which looks nice now he’s into 8/1 3rd fav. Won the mares novice last year after a superb late dash to beat Sixandahalf who I’m hoping can frank some form here in the county earlier on in the day. She loved the cheltenham hill last year as proven by the strong finish, and by the looks of it 2m4f shouldn’t be a problem trip wise, especially on this drier ground. She’s been given a nice break coming into the festival and her handicap mark looks fine, it seems like she’s been aimed directly at this. I’ll also play a small double on Air of Entitlement and Sixandahalf because fuck it. Others worth mentioning are Roc Dino and Ken Histoire but these are the front two in the market and will likely go off shorter than they realistically should due to owner/trainer combo. Other bet each way is ANDASHAN at 20/1. He won nicely over 2m4f at Newbury but seemed to have had a bigger performance in him with a better ride. A 6lb rise for that ride could be lenient given he seemed to have more in the tank. AIR OF ENTITLEMENT 16/1 and ANDASHAN 20/1 both EW

A race for hunter chasers only is often very hard to predict. Wonderwall won this last year and will be prominent in the betting once again Cons Roc at 8/1 is a nice price, being an extremely lightly raced horse given his age. He won in Ireland by 17 lengths, albeit the ground was very different to what it will be at Cheltenham. He finished strongly coming 3rd behind Its on the line last time out, suggesting he may be open to more improvement with more racing. WILLITGOAHEAD at 14/1 is a nicer price and went into last years Foxhunters having won 4 of his last 5 races. He finished 3rd despite being the youngest horse in the race, showing clear room for improvement. He split Con’s Roc and Its on the line at Down Royal and then unseated in his following start so can somewhat be seen as a bit of an unknown improvement wise, but 14/1 is.a nice price. Credit also needs to be given to WRAPPEDUPINMAY, who has been well talked up in the Cheltenham preview shows, and is being touted to be as good as if not better than stablemate and last years winner Wonderwall. The concern with him is that if the ground is too quick it sounds like he won’t run. I’ve taken No Run No Bet on him to cover my back at 9/1. WILLITGOAHEAD 14/1 and WRAPPEDUPINMAY 9/1 both EW.
