I’ve decided to call it a day with the FPL videos. I’ve never had a real passion or desire to actively pursue content. I’m lucky to have a career I love, working for a business I am passionate about, and I have an amazing wife and two brilliant kids. Those things — along with trying to stay at the top of my game in FPL — already keep me plenty busy! When the opportunity came up to do the series with Oscar it was about having a bit of fun, exploring something new, sharing a bit of insight, and maybe making a little money on the side to fund a nice family holiday! But it always had to work around the things that matter most to me. There was definitely a learning curve at the start, but after a while I found a routine that made it work. Ultimately though I realised the headspace required to keep it going was starting to have a knock-on effect elsewhere, so I decided it was time to call it. Huge thanks to Oscar for the opportunity — it’s been genuinely fun and I’ve learned skills I’d never have picked up otherwise. And thank you to everyone who watched and supported the series. I’m fairly resilient so I fully expected to have a good laugh at plenty of trolling, but the level of encouragement and positivity genuinely surprised me. I really appreciate it. I’ll still look to share updates, thoughts and plans on here for as long as I’m playing FPL. Who knows, I might even pop up with the odd guest appearance here and there. Unfortunately, I just can’t promise any kind of consistent content!
