This was my last DSB season and my last tournament as an active, competitive Splatoon player after 5.5 years since founding @TVA_Spl. You might still see me in one-off tournaments (or as an emergency sub) with TVA once in a while, but most likely not in weekly scrims anymore. ✌🏼

I hate that you can‘t turn off auto-save so much. I just caught a fucking Eevee with a masterball by accident. 💀

Even if GameFreak miraculously perfect the open-world formula with Winds and Waves, i dont think a pokemon game will ever have a level design as good as Hoenn. take this from someone who played all Gens, imho they'll never be surpassed in that department

Came to Twitter to see the reactions to the new Pokémon games, which to my surprise are overwhelmingly positive. Seems like I‘m the only one who absolutely did not like anything in the trailer at all (except being able to dive again). 😬

@FabSplats Yea the dlc is a scam ngl. Didn't even buy it and the content was very post game like..

@Moth182001 To me, it seemed like they had too little to announce for a special 30th anniversary presentation and decided to throw in another Mega. 🫠 (Even though I like ZA, I‘m still unsure whether or not to get this DLC because imo it should have been part of the main game.)

@FabSplats (Not to mention they showed a Trailer for the Legends ZA Dlc... And presented a "new" Mega... But the Dlc came out like a month ago hahahah)

@Moth182001 Me neither! I wish I could experience the excitement again like when they announced X/Y. Hopefully, it comes out at the end of 2027 and they are able to really work on it and have some cool features up their sleeves than just Pikachu with make-up

@FabSplats I have to wait. So far I'm not convinced. But 2027 is still a long wait so we'll see

@Moth182001 I get it‘s not the final product and still work in progress, but don‘t show such a scene if it still looks like that. 💀 I felt second-hand embarrassment. 😬 It felt weird…for example, what was up with the 10 second presentation of those music cards?!? Who is going to buy this?

@Moth182001 True and while it’s not perfect and a bit repetitive, I‘m actually enjoying playing ZA currently, which the majority seemed to dislike. 🤷🏻‍♂️ So I really don’t get the hype around Winds/Wave b/c I don‘t see the alleged huge progress from Scarlet/Violet. It‘s way too similar to them

@FabSplats I think Pokemon Fans are so used to eating shit that eating shit with cinamon on it tastes like a 5 star meal. It looks better than Scarlet/Violet tho.. But still not even remotely on the level it should be.

@Moth182001 OMG, yes!!! That was my thought exactly! 😂😂😂 Even if I wasn‘t completely thrilled by a new Pokemon game in the past, at least I liked one of the starters, but not this time. 🫣

Also the visuals are so, so beautiful, but absolutely stunning in quality mode on a big screen…and so much attention to detail! None NONE of the screenshots on the internet do them justice. If you think they look nice there, you‘re in for a treat when actually playing the game.

Except for the lack of actual usage for older Metroid amiibo and the inaccurate lock-on feature when aiming during certain boss fights (it‘s better to use mouse controls and/or aim freely), I have zero complaints.

I just finished Metroid Prime 4: Beyond 100% and wow…just wow…I wish I could find the right words to express how much I thoroughly loved playing this game! To me, it took the best aspects of Metroid, perfected them and put a new spin on them.
