@legsidelizzy Couldn't agree more. I fully support the zone (I live inside the 406 and had a non-compliant car) but the 'help' is insulting. There should at least be some allowance of exceptions on the charge for people inside the zone who can't afford the difference for a compliant vehicle.

Or at the very least give them help to buy a compliant car. ULEZ is essentially a regressive tax

I am a huge advocate of green policies and my electric car arrives in 6 days. However ULEZ hits the poorest hardest. The ones who drive a clapped out old banger drive them because they can’t afford to buy a new car. Don’t hit them with more cost of just trying to live their lives
