You came to me in April rains You two soothed my soul, my pains I was dried, you made me green I was dead, you made me keen I was one, you made me thousand O! The light of my eyes The joy of my heart If I die before you, darling Just pour upon my grave A handful of April rain 🌨

A letter's last line freezes time Where ink stays silent the ache begins Unsaid words hang in the void Lost notes of an unfinished song Between staying and leaving it lingers Like a half-smile a missing melody The start of an end echoes within Silent pause of an orphaned sentence
