Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG (17% of global capacity) is offline for 3–5 years after Iranian drone strikes, Russia’s pipeline gas is cut, and Norway is maxed out, leaving America as Europe's only scalable supplier.
With LNG prices up 35–50% since Hormuz closed, this isn't impulsive... it's the most calculated energy play in U.S. history, using the crisis to force a massive trade win.

🇮🇷🇪🇺 LNG ships that were supposed to go to Europe are suddenly turning around… and heading to Asia. At least 11 tankers have changed course this month. Why? Because supply is tightening fast after the Strait of Hormuz disruption and issues at Qatar’s biggest LNG facility. So buyers are chasing higher prices… and Asia is winning. Even U.S. shipments are being rerouted mid-journey. One ship literally left for Europe and then flipped to Asia halfway through. Why this matters: Europe is losing access to energy in real time. In 2020, I argued every state must count mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day.
Today, the RNC argued no state can.
That is how far the right has descended into voter suppression. And it is why I continue to fight.

The vote was 16 to 12.

To prevent fraud, the state of Connecticut passed an emergency bill, SB 299, introduced by Democratic leaders and signed into law by Governor Ned Lamont (D) on March 3, 2026 which requires a copy of a driver's license when redeeming >1,000 cans or bottles in a single day at bottle redemption centers.
This measure aims to prevent fraudulent actions, particularly by out-of-state residents crossing borders to exploit Connecticut's higher 10-cent deposit refund rate (compared to 5 cents in neighboring states), which was reportedly costing the state revenue.

The Chinese Hack that led to the banning of foreign routers is way worse than I ever imagined. The Chinese were not just in our routers. They had access to our iot. That’s “cameras. Video recordings, storage devices.” Even “court approved access to communication systems.” Meaning our Government surveillance. We’re the Chinese spying on Trump?
