This is the new guy Trump is negotiating with now.
In 1999 student protests, Ghalibaf went personally to one of the student dormitories to beat protesters. (He said it himself - calling them rebels)
On that tragic event, students were thrown off windows and rooftops of buildings. More than 70 students “disappeared” in one night of crackdown under his direct order. No sign of them was found by their families, not even now, 27 years later.
At the time, Ghalibaf was a high ranking IRGC chief, and, ironically, he is now the speaker of “the parliament”, where it should be an echo of the people’s voice.
The student protests in 1999 are known as “Kuye Daneshgah Disaster”. If you search and read about it, you’ll never again believe the “regime change” that Trump mentions these days.

@marklevinshow Do you know what is happening between US and Iran? Why Trump is trying so hard to negotiate again and insist to say that regime change has happened?

In other words, if Iran continues firing missiles into Israeli cities via its surrogate Hezbollah, and the Israelis unilaterally agree not to defend themselves by attacking Hezbollah, Iran will allow ships to pass through the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz.
Suicide is not in Israel’s DNA.

Off ramp which could lead to halt in Israeli strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon ahead of US-Iran talks in Islamabad, Pakistan on Saturday. If the Israeli strikes continue, Iran is threatening to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed, threatening ships who try to cross the strait without Iran's permission - both of which could stymy talks between the US and Iran. This is an important development from Israel.
